WILLIAMSPORT — Robert Wayne Evans, 75, Williamsport, died at 7:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999 at Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport. He had resided there one month. Born Nov. 18, 1923 near Cyclone, he was the son of William H. and Nellie Holmes Evans. He resided in Attica from 1968-84 before relocating to Williamsport. He resided with a long time friend, Katherine Oaks. He was employed at Harrison Steel Castings Co. in Attica for 16 years, retiring in 1984. He had previously worked for Hooks Pharmacy warehouse in Indianapolis. Survivors include: sisters, Rosemary Schuler, Frankfort and Lucille Cooper of Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 11 brothers and sisters. Friends may call from noon until service time at 2 p.m.. today (Wednesday), at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport, with the Rev. Bryce Wiley officiating. Burial in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport. – jlr
